1st time here today. Hands down some of the best home style southern cooking I've ever had. Super sweet staff. Huge portions. Looking forward to my next time in town just to eat here.
It is possible this place is as unassuming as it gets but don't let that deter you. I am no expert in soul food, however we stopped in for lunch while visiting Mississippi and can't say enough about the friendly staff and yummy food. On Thursday I went for fried chicken, sausage, green beans and collards. All were delicious. Look forward to coming again next time we are in town!

This place is the best home cooked soul/southern food you will ever eat! It's a small place across from the old paper mill and you can see them cook, clean, and everything in between. The staff is so friendly too! There are a few tables inside but most of the time it's a bit crowded so I get my food to go :) It seems a little pricey but they make it worth it with their portion sizes! We love going to Faye's!
Food was great... picked it randomly on our trip to Mississippi. Reviews were spot on and Mrs. Faye was really nice. Will go back next time we are in the area.
Drove down from Jackson and popped in here on our way back and man O man I'm so glad we did. I eneded up getting two full plate combos which comes with choice of one meat and three sides. I got the baked chicken (dark meat) and corn bread dressing, cabbage and Mac and cheese and my friend got the Turkey necks Mac and cheese corn bread dressing and rice and gravy. When I say EVERYTHING WAS GOOD! I'm telling you everything was good!!!!! My friend finished his plate as you can see left the bones dry! Service was A1 Ms. Faye come by our table and greeted us herself and was so sweet!!! Full plate combo is $16 but the portion sizes are very very generous. Restaurant was clean and had the homey feeling! 10/10 I would highly recommend. Next time I'm back in Golf Port I'll definitely be by Faye's Kitchen!
Oh my goodness, the food at Faye's Kitchen is incredible! Nothing fancy, just good home cooking that can't be beat anywhere! We were here last year on vacation and stopped in again today. As soon as we knew we were going to be in Moss Point, we planned to eat at Faye's Kitchen again. We got there too late today for the chicken & dumplings, so if you want them make sure to go early in the day because they do run out. We had pork neck bones for the first time and they were wonderful! The deep fried pork chops were equally as good, and the fried chicken.....oh, the fried chicken! I'm sure it's the best in Louisiana! And Miss Faye took the time to visit with us, which made our trip even more enjoyable! Our favorite place in Moss Point by far!
The service and food at this place can't be beat. We tried the fried chicken, chicken spaghetti, smothered pork chops, turnip greens, rutabagas, green beans, and banana pudding. Everything was delicious, and the service was incredibly friendly. Faye's Kitchen is a new favorite. We will be back whenever we are in town.
Honestly the best soul food in Mississippi. Hands down!! Excuse the pictures cause we're eating in the car. Couldn't even wait to get to the house lol. We had the hamburger steak, which was incredible!red beans and rice. Best red beans you'll have anywhere! And the greens!!?? Oh lord!! I've never had greens this good in my entire life and i've been around a long time.
